Life consists mostly of going to work, errands and home right now. These are the outfits I’ve worn to work the past couple of weeks, along with a couple of casual stay at home looks.
By now you may have noticed that a lot of my work wear for the office is repeated. I’ve been reaching for the same basic pieces over and over for most of the summer. I may need to break that rut. Hopefully the arrival of fall will bring a little change, but know that you can create numerous outfits just by remixing the same basic work wear pieces. Work wear for the office doesn’t have to be complicated. Don’t overthing what to wear. Wear what you feel comfortable and confident in.
Olive blazer + leopard top + black ankle pants + cognac flats
This is pretty much a flip of the olive pants/black blazer outfit seen here.
White blazer + floral top + purple pants + nude pumps
I’ve had this outfit in my head all summer and just recently got around to wearing it. This may be the last time I wear this white linen blazer, or it might see one more wear, but I retire linen when fall arrives.
Teal blazer + blue striped top+ tan trousers + nude pumps
I’ve never paired this top and blazer together before, and I was pleasantly surprised at the results.
Beige linen blazer + leopard sweater + spice ankle pants + neutral flats
I almost put on my cognac flats with this and then decided the beige flats would bookend the outfit better with the blazer.
Blush blazer + floral top + navy pants + mule booties
Does this count as a transitional outfit since blush is popular this fall and my dark floral blouse has blush, olive and burgundy?
Black blazer + mauve blouse + grey pants + black loafers
Tropical shorts + linen tee + sandals
We ran some errands and did some grocery pick ups weekend before last. This shorts are just too comfy.
Labor Day Weekend
Tank + denim shorts + sandals
This is my at home uniform, if I get out of workout clothes or lounge wear.
