Hello there! I hope everyone here in the U.S. had a wonderful 4th of July holiday. Today I’m sharing all the things I primed in June 2022.

Some of my all-time favorite things come from Amazon like my beauty organizer,

Some of the things I primed in June 2022 would be great things to be on the lookout for during the Prime Day sales, so let’s get to them.
Some months we barely shop, and some months I’m adding to cart daily. I think June was an “add to cart daily” month.
EMPERIA Faux Leather Small Sling Backpack
Not too big, not too small, this sling backpack is just right and perfect for giving your outfits the sporty vibe and aesthetic that’s so trendy right now. It would be a great bag for traveling too.
This one is a nice quality and can be dressed up or down. Comes in five other colors. For size reference, I ordered a medium.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
I wanted a bright pink lipstick, but not as bold as Revlon Balm Stain in Sweetheart that I already had. This one in pink promise did the trick. I love these lipsticks- affordable, moisturizing, never sticky and lasts a reasonable amount of time.
I already had one of these in blue and added one in khaki to my collection.
I had this one but had worn it out. I bought another as a replacement.
Earnda Women’s Faux Leather Chic Belt
While a black or brown belt is usually my go to, I kept finding myself wanting a lighter color belt for lighter pants and when wearing nude shoes. Problem solved. Amazon to the rescue.
If you aren’t interested in hair products, skip down a bit because the next few things are related to hair. I had some major growing pains the last couple of months going between growing out my hair a bit and only growing my bangs to getting my stylist on board with what we were doing with my hair. I started watching hair tutorials on You Tube and Instagram and that lead to the purchase of new hair products to play with.
BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Mini Straightening Iron
I tried this out and ended up returning it but not because it’s not a great mini iron. I’ve been growing out my bangs and changing up my hair here and there and wanted to trying curling it or adding waves and thought a mini iron would be helpful. It turns out my bangs are long enough for a regular iron, I just need to find a more streamlined flat iron than the one I currently own. The mini was too short for my hair and I couldn’t make it all the way to the ends but if you have short hair or just need quick touch ups on the go, this mini flat iron would be perfect.
I’ve got my eye on the full size ultra-thin version.
Chi 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray
As noted, it doesn’t build up. It doesn’t make your hair crunchy or sticky when working with it. It just provides protection from the heat. My only issue is that is tends to “wet” my hair, and that slows me down a bit waiting for it to dry. Maybe I’m using too much or spraying too close for my short hair.
Conair 16 watt compact hair dryer
This has been on my list to buy for almost a year. I have a couple of trips coming up so I went ahead and bought it. My regular hair dryer sounds like it will die any day now so this will also serve as a back-up. I would almost promise you my hair dryer will die when I’m trying to get to work and don’t have time to wait for my hair to dry.
This is my first time using a dry hair wax product. It’s hard in the jar and you have to warm it between your hands, but it works wonders for spiking or piecing hair and adding texture. I’ve been using it in the shorter pieces in the crown of my hair and to tame down any spots that have too much volume on the sides. There is very little odor to this product.
I’ve used this product before and I’m not sure why I stopped. It’s great for adding texture and for making just washed hair more pliable. The downside is that it does have a strong chemical odor.
Great for finishing off heat styled hair or dirty hair that looks a bit dry from dry shampoo.
I don’t pay for manicures or pedicures. I do my own at home. I needed to restock these.
Sally Hansen Problem Cuticle Remover
Works great on thick, dry overgrown cuticles.
I do not like clingy tank tops. I like for them to skim over my protruding rib cage. I bought this one last year in brown and decided I needed this cheery yellow this summer. I love the fit and feel of these tanks.
Do you still wear slips under skirts or dresses? I do but it had been years since I purchased one. My old slip was worn out and a bit snug. It was time for a replacement.
These are a fun accessory with a pop of color for summer.
Gold and White bead hoop earrings
These are a little smaller than the other earrings above. I ordered both thinking I would choose between the two. Well, you know how that goes. I ended up keeping both. These are so light I forget I’m wearing them.
I have this hat in olive and wear it in the fall when we camp. I’ve also been wearing it in the yard to do yard work. I decided I needed a white one since it’s so on trend with the coastal grandmother vibes.
The hubby ordered these. We have a stash of them somewhere and can’t find them. Do you ever “hide” something from yourself?
It was also time for me to replace white tank tops. I like to have a couple on hand. I have a couple of the Land’s End mockneck long sleeve tees for the winter so this was a no brainer. I love how smooth the material feels.
atika Women’s Outdoor Hiking Sandals
I decided I wanted to give these a try for both the style and function. We hike a good bit and a trail sandal would be nice to have (in theory. There are places where a sandal won’t offer much protection.) I also like the sporty style when I want to dress down. I also ordered a pair of Teva and I immediately returned the Teva. The Teva footbed was like a regular flip flop and no where near as comfortable as these. I haven’t done much walking in these yet but they felt so good right out of the box. They also have two points of adjustment with the straps where the Teva only had one.
My old strapless bra no longer fits well. I tried to shop in store for this because I thought it would be easier, but after two stores and very little selection, I did some online research and decided to give this one a try. I’ll be returning it because it won’t stay up. I’ll be splurging for my favorite – the Wacaol if I don’t snag one during the Nsale.
It’s been brutally hot already and the hubby does not tolerate the heat well. He gets too hot too quickly. A friend recommended this hat.
We bought one of these for our dog a little over a year ago. It’s a great bed but our dog suffers from major anxiety and destroyed her bed recently during a storm while we were at work. After making her sleep on the bed with a hole in the middle for a few weeks, we caved and bought her another one. She gets to sleep on this one in the bedroom and during travel. We bought her another Kuranda for the daytime/ living room. We have owned one of these before and she can’t destroy it. The vinyl is noisy at night so this will be her daybed. (Spoiled dog! Two beds!)
This was definitely an “add to cart daily” month. We also purchased new lawn mower tires (is there ANYTHING you can’t buy on Amazon?) and copy paper.
