Hi there and Happy Friday. In case you haven’t been following along, I’m running a five day series showcasing 10 spring outfits from 10 pieces of clothing. You can see the capusle here, and outfits 2 and 3 here. Today I’m styling a dress for spring and a casual weekend outfit with the button fly jeans. Either of these outfits would be a great weekend outfit.
Outfit 4 Dress+utility jacket

You can easily have a weekend outfit perfect for errands by pairing a dress with a utility jacket and sneakers. The dress takes on a much more casual vibe with these pieces. I’m finally caving in to the white sneaker trend. I don’t think I’ve had white sneakers since I was a kid. I went several years as an adult without owning sneakers of any kind, other than my running sneakers that were strictly for running. Now I own three pair. Or maybe I should say I’m in the process of owning three pair- the white ones I’m styling here have to go back because they are too big on my heels. I’ve found it hard to get a good fit in a trainer style sneaker. Who knew it could be so complicated?

If you need a weekend outfit that’s casual but a step above jeans and tee, pair a print top with jeans. A cardigan is the perfect topper for a cool spring morning or day. Add a pop of color with a bright bag.
