I hope you have all had a great holiday season. I’m not going to lie, I went back to work Thursday after being off for a week, and it was tough! It was hard to be motivated and work because we were at less than half staff and there was really nothing going on. The days between Christmas and New Years are always surreal to me. It’s like no one really knows what to do with themselves. The Good Housekeeping editor in chief called those days “Lolli-days.” I agree! If anyone was out, it was like they were lolly gagging around. I went out the day after Christmas to stock up on some supplies for next season and Target was a madhouse! I went out on Saturday and the mall and the grocery store were nearly dead. Like night and day from the week before.
Happy New Year! It’s always fun to see a new year come and plan new and exciting things, but it’s also always fun to me to look back over the past year. Finding the most viewed posts gives me some insight into what outfit or outfits resonated with you (or with Pinterest perhaps? If you see something you like, please pin it. It’s a great way to show support as Pinterest drives a lot of traffic back to bloggers. I know some of you do regularly pin my content, so thanks!)
I was originally just going to post the overall top 10 posts of the year, but then I decided to take a look at each month. In addition, I decided to look and see what was my personal favorite for each month too. Get a beverage, sit back and prepare to scroll for a while.

My personal favorite for that month was the outfit I put together as a Valentine’s inspired day to night look for a collaboration with Ada at Elegance and Mommyhood. It’s easy to see so far that I’m a fan of plaid during the winter.

This outfit with a denim jacket, graphic tee, and pink pants is my favorite for March. And these pants are still The Best Spring Pants.

This was the most viewed post in May. There’s that striped sweater again! In May I switched from blogspot to wordpress, bought a theme and went self hosted. I’m still learning and updating stuff.
