November Top 10 Reader Favorites - Savvy Southern Chic

Hey there and Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and your holiday season is off to a great start. I have the tree up and most of the outdoor decorations are done. I just need to put out a few final touches, decorate my tiered trays and set a tablescape on the dining room table.

Today I’m sharing the ten most viewed posts of November and the ten most purchased items. But first,

I hope to get my November book review out next week, but I wanted to mention a cute Christmas theme book I just finished. The Clause in Christmas by Rachael Bloome was super cute. It’s a self-discovery and romance story and it’s clean! Cassie finds herself inheriting a cottage from a grandmother she never knew but in order to earn the inheritance, she has to follow a 25 day Christmas calendar and complete an activity per day. There is a handsome attorney assigned to oversee this. The problem- Cassie hates Christmas. She has never celebrated it. The characters in this story are adorable and it’s the first book in a series, so now I’m hooked and I’ve started book 2 so I can find out what happened to a couple of the characters.

The 25 days of activities from the book has me wanting to do something like this myself, but I couldn’t get my husband on board. He was being a Scrooge until I got the indoor decorations up. Now he’s the first to turn on the tree lights. Little does he know, I’m still doing my own little version of 25 days of Christmas. So far I’ve listened to Christmas music, made fudge, and hung the mistletoe. I have not decided on each days activity yet, but I’d like to enjoy the season slowly, a little at the time, instead of in a flurry, all in one day. I think we will watch a Christmas movie tonight.
