Fantastic Friday Finds Vol. 2

A couple of weeks ago I shared “Fantastic Friday Finds” under $50. I plan to keep sharing these finds with you. There are so many good things out there and it’s fun sometimes to “window shop” online.

Not all of these finds will be under $50, but you can bet it will be a good deal or worth the money.

This weeks features items perfect for a spring home decor refresh and a closet refresh.

I randomly found this comforter set at Belk online when I was looking up the earrings I bought while shopping with my Mama. We did away with our old comforter during the January declutter plurge.

It was a beautiful embroidered comforter but dry clean only and it was about 15 years old. It was disgusting around the top edges. I’ve never found dry cleaning to really clean anything. We stopped using it and it was just taking up space in the bedroom so out it went.

Maybe I have summer on the brain, but this set belongs in a vacation home and possibly even in my bedroom. Our bathroom has birds of paradise flowers and geckos as part of the decor, so why not? AND, It’s machine washable!!!

I really want to lighten up and refresh our bedroom- it’s SOOO dark- but the comforter purchase would likely result in a need for new curtains too. Oh and lampshades. Geez. Decisions, decisions.

If you want a little tropical paradise or vacation feeling all year round, snag this set.

Embroidererd lightweight top– Yes please! Embroidery is such a pretty detail. Cents of Style has an entire collection of pretty spring tops ranging from $8-$20 with code BESTDAY. Don’t miss this deal!

All the fun stuff will kick off in May- Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, backyard parties, summer and more. Make entertaining easy with charcuterie boards. They are fun and easy to put together. I stumbled across this set of two from Sam’s Club through an instagram account I follow. This is a good deal for two boards.

This book -Beautiful Boards– has amazing ideas for charcuterie boards.

Don’t have a Sam’s Club membership?

I love our Sam’s Club membership. We upgraded to plus and get free two day shipping.

In addition to savings on groceries, they have great home decor and home essentials.

Need a floor length mirror? (Yes, you do- one of the best ways to look stylish is to take a good look at your whole outfit head to toe and study it in the mirror. Not only are you looking for things to be fastened and tucked properly, proper fit and placement, but also just look and see if the vibes of the pieces are working together for the whole look.)

Sam’s has a great simple mirror for a great price. A full length mirror can serve as decor and be functional. It’s a great way refresh your spring home decor.

How about a pretty braided bag to go with those braided sandals that are all the rage?

Speaking of sandals- did you know Walmart had a pair of ruched sandals for less than $15? Snag them if you can. I paid twice that for mine from Amazon.

Let’s not skirt any issues- This pretty crochet skirt comes in petite and regular length. I love pieces that add some texture to my outfits.

Pioneer Woman Glass Canister Set I’ve been looking for a canister to use in my laundry area to hold powdered oxi-clean. I don’t know if these would be practical there but they are so pretty. Something simple with a little color is a great way to make a spring home decor refresh.

This would be a total splurge for me to pay this much for a basket, but butterflies always get my attention. Baskets can also serve a home decor and be functional.

Any of these or the last round up of finds would make great Mother’s Day Gifts.
