I love the combination of blush and black. I also love the clean fitted lines of this outfit. They combine perfectly for a blush and black office wear outfit.

As much as I love a good pair of trousers for professional work attire, I equally love the clean lines of a pair of ankle pants. Especially when they let you show off a pair of pumps with sleek lines. Low vamp heels or d’orsay pumps work well with ankle pants to keep from having a choppy effect. The continuation of skin makes for sleeker lines. The low vamp of the pump also helps to elongate the leg- a must have feature for petites.
Blush and black office wear has the perfect combination of soft and serious. Pink, especially pale blush pink, can be viewed as too girly for an office. You want to be taken seriously at work. Pair it with a strong color like black and it becomes office appropriate. Pink and black are sophisticated but safe. The fact that the pink is being worn in a piece like a blazer gives it a little more power.
Do you have big plans for the weekend? I think we are going to stay around and chill because the husband has been sick for the past two weeks. He’s finally feeling better but it’s too late to really plan a trip. I will probably take advantage of some online shopping because Memorial Day sales are also some of my favorites and summer fashion is so much fun- bright colors, whimsical prints– it’s all so much fun.
