As is normal for us, it’s a warm fall. Temperatures are still 80 to 90 in the afternoons. Mornings might be mid 60s to 70 but the cooler temps are short lived. That means that I modify my attire to fall colors but that’s about it. I’m here to share another edition of what I wore lately. It’s all about early fall work wear because I’m still hanging out at home on the weekends.
Grey blazer+ grey trousers+ leopard short sleeve sweater
I’ve always like the combination of camel and grey, and this sweater even has a touch of grey with it, so it was an easy decision to wear this sweater with this suit. Peep toe booties make it feel a little more like a fall outfit.
Burgundy blazer + floral top+ olive pants + cognac flats
I knew immediately that this would be the first way I’d wear this top from Target as soon as I bought it. I may have to stretch my creative muscles but I know I will find other ways to wear it. This was just the most obvious pairing.
Black blazer + floral top + camel pants + peep toes booties
I would not normally pair a black blazer with this but I like how the blazer and booties bookend this outfit and ground each other. This top has all the fall feels too and it’s perfect for early fall work wear to weekend looks.
Gingham blazer + green top + black ankle pants + loafers
This top has some side gathering and it’s great worn alone. I really shouldn’t cover it up with a blazer.
Navy Blazer + solid rust top + plaid pants
I’ve worn this outfit many times with a different rust orange top but I’ve replaced the top.
Black blazer+ printed top+ rust pants+ loafers
Another combo I’ve repeated over several fall seasons, but with different pants. I bought these pants in the spring/summer but I will keep wearing them for fall.
Lightweight sweater hoodie + denim shorts + sandals
This is my weekend/ off duty uniform so to speak, when I bother with something other than pajamas or work out wear. The sweater is very lightweight but has fall vibes. A hoodie or sweatshirt with denim shorts is my go to for the cooler evenings/mornings. These sandals feel a little more appropriate for fall than some of my other summer sandals.
Linen tee + kick crop jeans + sneakers
Normally I give up linen once fall arrives, but this tee is a perfect color for fall.
Print top+ denim shorts + sandals
The same top from above that I mentioned goes from work to weekend. Here it is with shorts.
We ran some errands last weekend and I decided to wear something besides the denim shorts. I love the lace and ruffles on this top.
