Have you been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021? Are you waiting for public access this week on the 28th? I have a couple more things that are due to arrive today or tomorrow. If they are worth sharing, I’ll come back and edit and add them to this post. For now I’m sharing what I ordered, loved, kept and returned.
I’m starting off with the probably the worst pic. I really should have cleaned the mirror but I never realize that until I’m done. Dark colors really show off a dirty mirror, but this isn’t about a dirty mirror so let’s keep moving.

Treasure and Bond Vneck Sweater- The sleeves are a bit long so I rolled them up as you see them here. The sweater is super soft and not clingy but not sloppy. It’s a great casual loose fit. It’s recommended to size down, but I didn’t. I’m wearing a small and could probably be happy in small or extra small.
It’s a keeper but it’s such a basic item that I’m returning it to balance the budget. I’m sure I’ll find a black vneck sweater when I can actually wear one.
Wit and Wisdom Ab-Solution Raw Hem Straight Leg Jeans These are currently sold out but they are definitely sought after favorites. This brand and fit works well for my curvy bottom and the rise is perfect for front and back. I get ample coverage in the back. I’m wearing a 6petite. Stalk these for restocks if you need a good curvy fit jean. I also like the straight leg fit on these. Many of these cuts don’t look quite right on me, but these work. My only complaint about these jeans is that the wide set pockets on the back can make the rear look a little bigger. I bought two pair and I’m keeping the other color.
The skinny jeans by Wit and Wisdom appear to be in stock. I bought these last year and love them.
Treasure and Bond leather oval buckle belt– I go through belts like crazy because I wear them daily for work and some of my gear puts a strain on them. I can’t go wrong getting a stylish leather belt on sale. Sadly, this one is sold out too. Wearing a small. As of the writing of this post, this one is still in stock and I recommend a snakeskin belt to add a fun touch to outfits.
Eileen Fisher Joss Knit Bootie
These were a curiosity purchase. I don’t normally spend this much for booties. I was curious about the knit. I’m happy to report that it has plenty of structure. They stretch to easily go on your foot and them pretty much mold to your foot. The could use a tad more cushion in the footbed, but it you are not going to stand all day, it would not be an issue. I’m pretty much in love with the booties I didn’t plan to keep but the hubby says I can have them as part of my birthday gift. I wear 7.5 M and these are true to size.
I’ve shopped for new black booties for the past two seasons and sent back everything I’ve tried. I love the cut of these around the ankle. Boots that come straight across tend to cut me off and make me look stumpy. The side cut out and angled top are super flattering for larger calves/ankles if you have that issue. If I wear them for the next ten years like I have the last pair (seriously), the price isn’t an issue.
Kendra Scott Zorte Split Hoop Earrings
You can’t go wrong with classic hoop earrings and these have a modern flair with the split hoop. All of my Kendra Scott jewelry has held up well so these are keepers.

Just as it’s description says, its supersoft and cozy. The soft colors will go with everything. I’m on the fence but probably returning. If we actually had a winter here, I’d keep it.
Blondo Sawyer Waterproof Bootie in Dark Suede- I’m wearing a 7.5M, so I’d say they are true to size. I have a pair of Blondo booties that I love. You can’t go wrong with the waterproof feature. These are a comfortable low heel bootie. They work well with the crop straight leg jean. If I didn’t already have booties in a similar color, I’d keep these.
Madewell Hoop Chain Earrings- Cute earrings and more on the casual side. I’m returning because I will personally get more wear out of the Kendra Scott hoops, but if your style is strictly casual, these are super light to wear.

Gibson Off the Shoulder Knit Top This comes in an animal print and two solid colors as well as this camo. The off the shoulder isn’t too “off the shoulder” and this neckline flatters us pear shapes. Wearing a small.
It’s super soft and light but cozy. It would make a great top for packing to travel in the winter because it’s not thick but still cozy. I’m keeping it for all the reasons stated and because the husband saw me setting up to video this and said this whole look was a winner. That’s how I came around to discussing these booties and whether or not to keep them. If the husband is impressed, you keep every piece.
Wit and Wisdom Cool Max Raw Hem jeans
Wearing a 6 petite. I’m curious about this cool max feature. It’s something we can definitely use in jeans in the south. I’m keeping these because I love the Wit and Wisdom fit as previously discussed and I wanted a lighter wash for variety.

A cute waffle knit top. Soft and cozy. The detail is in the back. I forgot to take a photo of the back so I’m sharing a video clip of the back. Comes in five colors. Cute but not in the budget for me to keep.
Fleur Freshwater Pearl Flower Drop Huggie Hoop Earrings by Gorjana
Gorjana is another of my favorite jewelry brands. These huggies are well made and have an actual sturdy clasp. Some of my huggies are so delicate I’m afraid they will break and they hook by closing into themselves. I really like that these have a clasp. You can remove the flower drop and you will have two looks for the price of 1. I’m leaning towards keeping these. I also ordered these studs but they are too small for my taste. Sold out but I’m returning mine so there is one restock for you.
Off the Shoulder Thermal Knit Top
Soft and cozy but a little on the “cheap” side appearance wise. Flattering neckline for pears. Comes in four colors. Overall I just wasn’t impressed so I’m returning.

Wearing a small. Comes in five colors. On the short side for tucking. Not a good material for humid climates so back it goes.
Wearing a small in the top. Soft and cozy. Comes in five colors. This top is more on the lounge wear side but can be dressed up into a casual outfit with jeans. I’ve been looking for a pink vneck top or sweater for a few years but this one still isn’t a heck yeah for me. Returning.
