I’m back with another edition of What I Wore Lately. These are the real outfits I’ve worn to work, outings or around the house. Please use them for style inspiration. Think out of the box and shop your closet to recreate your own versions, if you will.

Casual Outfits
At home on a Saturday
I spend a good part of Saturday mornings in my work out wear because I usually do a leg day workout on Saturdays. When I finally got dressed, I put on this old tank and my navy chino shorts. I wear these sandals around the house frequently.

Hair Cut
I had an appointment for a hair cut just before Memorial Day so I donned this kimono, tee and straight leg jeans to head to the beauty shop. Funny thought- do you call it a beauty shop or a hair salon? Hair salon sounds much more sophisticated, but around here it’s the “beauty shop”.

I ran some errands during Memorial Day weekend and wore this out shopping. The top and shorts are new pieces I talked about in my recent purchases post.

Day off/ at home
I cropped my face out because I was having another allergic reaction with red swollen eyes. It wasn’t pretty. These shorts are a recent purchase from Amazon for lounging around the house and my hubby bought the shirt for me from from Black Rifle Coffee Company.

Work
Black blazer + blue striped top+ grey pants
This really didn’t pop like I hoped it would. I really need a brighter blue top, so it came across a little boring to me.

Work Pink blazer+ floral top + beige pants
These pants are a little lighter than beige but darker than cream so we’ll just call them beige. I usually wear this top with navy or burgundy but I noticed that it had light pink in it also and decided to pair it with the blazer for a spring/summer look.

Work
All black + gingham blazer
I saw a similar look on Instagram and realized I could recreate it.
Make this a date night or night out look with a camisole and black jeans.

Work- cardigan + olive pants + neutral shoe
This is the second or third time I’ve work this cardigan buttoned up as a top and I love it. I may try this with a few more of my cardigans.

Translate this to black blazer+ black floral to + bright/colored bottoms. Any bright bottoms that match a floral top from your closet will work with this formula.

I like having this lighter blue color of bottoms for spring and summer as opposed to navy. I still wear navy pants plenty during the summer but I like this pair and color as another option.
