I’m back with another edition of What I Wore Lately. These are the exact outfits I wore to work and other activities. Many of these pieces are old and from my closet. I encourage you to use these outfits as inspiration to put together outfits from your closet. You don’t have to have the exact pieces to recreate these looks, although I’ve linked items if you want to purchase similar pieces or the exact item, when available.
Since we are back at the office full time now, most of these are work outfits but I do have a few casual looks from my weekends.
My last teleworking day involved some errands after work so I wore my favorite wide leg light wash jeans and this textured puff sleeve Loft sweater. I love clothes with texture or pattern so this is one of my favorite recent purchases. This sweater is lightweight enough for our warmer spring weather.

What’s better than red, white and blue? During spring and summer my white blazer gets frequent wear. I paired it with this red floral top from Old Navy that I bought last year and only wore a few times and navy pants.

I really do love to wear a good mix of neutral outfits and color and this day was for color. The blazer and blouse are old pieces from JCPenney. A bright blazer can really keep a pair of black pants from being boring.

Illuminating and ultimate grey- Pantone’s Colors of the Year for 2021. I’ve always liked a yellow and grey combo. I wrote a whole post about this outfit.
Grocery store trip- most of my weekend outings still consist mostly of trips to the grocery store. We are slow to resume activities. These joggers are a nice upgrade from knit sweat pant joggers. I paired them with a camo tee and slip on sneakers. I’m a firm believer that even the most casual outfits need accessories, like some simple jewelry, to make them look intentional. I chose a dainty necklace and basic hoops for this outfit.

Monday- business on top, party on the bottom. I reach for a matching suit when I’m short on time in the mornings, but it’s fun to mix things up with a colored shoe.

Neutrals for work
The leopard print sweater tee is a recent purchase. I paired it with other neutral pieces from Loft. I’ve previously shared a more casual neutral outfit with this sweater.
Day off
High waist straight leg jeans and floral top with wedge sandals. These jeans are a nice break from skinny jeans but still have a slim look about them. I coordinated my sandals with a dominant color from the top.
Shop the Look- here
I finished out the work week in a pair of fun pants. I recently shared two ways to wear these amethyst orchid pants with animal prints.
Saturday errands
I’ve been wanting to wear my overalls so I did just that. I wore them to the grocery store and on errands. I paired them with a baseball tee and my converse sneakers.

Mother’s Day
I cooked some things at home and took them with me to my mamas and cooked some more things at her house. My brother grilled. These wide leg linen pants were perfect for the travel and for the warm afternoon. If you don’t have a pair, snag them NOW. You can dress them up or down.
I didn’t even think about until I started typing this out, but all of these pieces are from Old Navy. It makes sense that pieces from one retailer would coordinate with each other.
