Fall is approaching. Well, at least on the calendar for me, but I can start planning fall outfits anyway so I’m ready as soon as the temps dip. One of the easiest ways to add some spunk to a fall outfit is to add a hat. As much as I like a straw hat in the summer, I love wearing wool felt hats in the fall and winter. Here are nine cute and easy fall outfits that are perfectly balance with a hat.
And don’t tell me you can’t wear a hat! Check out this post for tips on how to look good in a hat. It’s all about picking the best on for your face shape.
Jazz up a plain white tee and jeans with a scarf and a hat. Add ankle booties and it equals instant fall outfit.
A hat gives a dress sophisticated vibes. Wool felt hats work particularly well with sweater dresses.
Jacket- Old Navy; dress- old; booties- similar
Another tee+ jeans look. This time a brown wool felt hat offsets a teal tee and grey jeans. Add a scarf to keep you warm when it’s only a little chilly to avoid the bulk of a jacket.
With boot cut jeans- Hats and boot cut jeans are a match made in heaven. Pair a cardigan with a plaid shirt and you’ve got a classic fall outfit.
Boot cut jeans and a boho top- Wool felt hats are the perfect accessory to your boho looks.
Top- thrifted; jeans- Old Navy (old); option shoes- Old
Riding boots+ jeans– You can’t go wrong adding a hat to outfits with tall boots.
Jeans- NYDJ; boots- old; scarf (gift).
With a sweater and burgundy jeans– Or any fall colored jeans.
Top your summer dresses with a denim jacket and add a hat for a quick fall look.

Plaid and fur vest– A felt fedora looks great with classic plaid shirts and fur vests.
