Is this the day you’ve been waiting for? The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to everyone today. Sadly, pickings are slim and your favorites may be sold out. Don’t worry- I’ve got some great options for you that will still create the same looks or save you some money.
Maybe you didn’t plan to shop the sale at all. A lot of items are just out of my budget even at the sale price. If that’s you, or if you are just boycotting because it’s over hyped, you will love these Nordstrom alternatives.
The zebra print camisole caught my eye, but it sold out. There’s a similar option at JCrew Factory and I bet if you are patient, you can get that one for less during a sale there.
The Caslon tee in animal print appears to be sold out, but Old Navy tee shirts compare in quality with these and Old Navy has lots of fun prints in their tee right now.
Moonlight Dreams Pajamas vs Target Stars Above– These are both made from the exact same materials- 95% modal and 5% spandex.
Lace Inset Camisole vs Amazon lace trim tank Both polyester but the Amazon one has a bit of spandex
CeCe Lace Sleeve top vs Amazon lace sleeve top – Polyester/spandex vs cotton/polyester. This might be a situation of you get what you pay for, but if you are operating on a lower budget, the Amazon top gets great reviews.

BP Joggers vs Amazon Essentials Terry Jogger– I have the Amazon essentials joggers and love them. They are the same or better quality as the BP brand, and they sell for around $20 everyday.
Chelsea28 Cowl Neck Sweater vs Amazon Goodthreads Turtleneck The Chelsea28 sweater is 55% cotton, 26% polyester, 11% nylon, 5% wool, 3% spandex vs 100% cotton in the Goodthreads sweater. I ordered the Goodthreads sweater last year and was impressed with it.
Spanx Faux Leather leggings vs Hue Leatherette Leggings– I know Spanx gets all the rave reviews, but I have the Hue leggings and have been extremely happy with them for the past two years. I haven’t compared them hands on to the Spanx but haven’t felt the need to. So if you are a little shy of trying faux leather leggings, the Hue leggings are a more economical alternative.
Wool felt hat– The Nordstrom hat is only left in black but you can have your pick of colors with the Amazon version. I have a straw hat in this brand and I’ve had no issues with it.
True and Co bralette vs True and Co bralette from Target. Are they the same? I’ve ordered both to find out.
Quay sunglasses vs Sojos. I have the Sojos and get compliments on them all the time.
