Happy Tuesday! It’s that time where I share all the things I’ve been shopping for and purchasing in the past month, in particular from Amazon Prime.
Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddler– I love this thing! Our old one had been used so much, food was sticking to the worn plates. It was time for a replacement. I looked at just buying new plates, but considering the age and condition of the older one, a replacement was a better deal. I also bought a brush to clean this one with, but it comes with a scraper, so I haven’t used the brush yet.
Nail files/emery boards– I had no decent nail files and I always seem to need one. I love these fun colors and I can drop one in each purse and in all the drawers and desk drawers and have one within reach.
OPI crystal nail file– I also purchased this nail file. The emery boards are great for quick touch up and emergencies, but this thing is amazing for at home manicures. My nails are so smooth when I use this.
Honest Beauty Hydrogel Cream with Two Types of Hyaluronic Acid & Squalane Sometimes you just need to switch up products because your skin adapts and things don’t work anymore. I was having this issue with my moisturizer and I had used up some samples and needed to find a new moisturizer. This brand is clean and doesn’t aggravate my skin allergies. So far it’s doing a great job. It’s like giving my skin a drink of water from the outside.
Aquaphor- This is one of those tried and true things I’ll always keep around. I use it for lips, rough heels, and dry knees.
Revlon Balm Stain- I’ve been analyzing my lipsticks and I don’t know if it’s the subtle change I made to my hair color or the change of my skin tone for summer, but several of my lipsticks just were not doing it for me anymore. I decided I needed a bright pop of color. This stuff lasts! It required some scrubbing to remove at the end of the day but it’s such a fun color.
I also purchased this dress to wear to a wedding that my husband served as a groomsman in. I purchased it in the hot tropic color. The wedding went well but our hotel experience was awful and we checked out early the day of the wedding and drove home (3 plus hours) that night after the wedding. I didn’t get any pics of the dress or outfits that weekend.
The wedding trip prompted me to buy real masks. I bought these from Boston Proper. Some of the reviews are crazy! These are not cotton. They are polyester and thin, but they are tolerable inside. I don’t really have any complaints about them, and I have a mask in snakeskin! I also bought some cotton masks from Vera Bradley. I have to tie small knots in the elastic to get a good fit in these, so they run large. The patterns must change frequently because I don’t see any of the patterns I purchased on the site now.
