What I Wore Lately- Super Casual and Easy Outfits

This round of outfits is super casual. These are casual and easy outfits for staying home or for running a quick errand.

I did work from home in a few of these because my video conferencing time has begun to decrease as we increase our time back in the field. I was back out in the field for two days of the last couple of weeks making face to face contacts with clients.

These are all easy outfits because I’ve been having nerve pain in my left leg since Mother’s Day. Who wants to get dressed when they are in pain? It’s likely sciatic nerve pain from the increased sitting and decreased activity that comes with teleworking.

Two trips to the chiropractor this week seems to have me back to normal but I’m ready to go back to the office and back to running up and down the halls and stairs of my building during the day. Apparently all of my efforts to be active around the house after working hours has not been enough.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a tee shirt dress is the easiest thing for staying at home, working at home, or summer outings. It’s like wearing pajamas and being dressed up at the same time. I purchased this dress from Amazon and it’s one of my favorites. Did I mention it has pockets?

Let me be honest. This is my version of a thrown together outfit. It doesn’t even deserve to be an outfit in my book. It needs different shoes, a tuck and a belt or something, but I was headed out to buy a new office chair because the one I had been using was part of the pain problem.

It was a task chair designed for two hours of sitting at the time, not 8-10 hours. And I was in pain so I didn’t really care how I looked. The sneakers were being worn because at this point I had also decided that I’ve spent too much time in sandals with no support and this was likely contributing to the pain problem.

Tip: The straight leg jeans are too long to wear with these sneakers and I didn’t like them cuffed, so I just turned them under.

I shot photos in this outfit Sunday afternoon for GYPO and then just wore the outfit the rest of the afternoon. I swapped out the sandals for these that have more cushioning and support.

I was going to list them on Poshmark, but now that I’m having issues with nerve pain, these may become my house shoes. If you need support but still want cute sandals or shoes, I highly recommend Aerosoles. I have a pair of wedges in this brand as well and they are so comfy. You can find Aerosoles at Belk, Macy’s, DSW and Amazon among many other places.

My first trip to the chiropractor. I dressed comfy in joggers and a tee because I knew I’d be stretched and manipulated.
