Who knew that cleaning, disinfecting and homemaking would become one of my favorite pastimes? Anyone else find themselves doing these things since Covid-19 quarantining? In that vein, reading household tips from sites like The Spruce and Apartment Therapy has become a favorite thing too.

Marie Kondo’s Method for Storing Kitchen Towels Is the Only Way to Store Kitchen Towels I currently store our kitchen towels in the large deep drawer under the dryer. I tried the Marie Kondo method and it didn’t work for that space, but this might be a great idea if you are storing kitchen towels in a shallow drawer.
I do love the Marie Kondo method for socks and my sock drawer makes me so happy!

Prefer liquid hand soap? Can’t find it? We had a shortage of liquid soap around here along with the toilet paper and paper towels. I’ve seen a lot of DIYs during COVID quarantine that were questionable (DIY hand sanitizer) or just impractical (DIY cleaning wipes from paper towels? um- we have a shortage of paper towels, remember?) but this makes sense when bar soap is all that’s left on the shelf- How to Make Liquid Soap From Bar Soap.
Some interesting Amazon finds- I’m always making lists of things I come across on Amazon, especially things that I think will make my household run smoother.
OXO bag grips– I save twist ties but there are lots of bags they just don’t work for and they don’t seem to last very long either. I think I’ve found the solution to this problem with these adjustable bag grips.
A replacement for the gross kitchen sponge- No odor dish cloth
I feel like we have devices charging everywhere all the time! This might be a nice solution- Smart Charging Station
Sorry this is short and sweet. Work has ramped back up and we have returned to some of our normal duties outside the office. Still teleworking for all office related stuff, but we have returned to the field work portion with some modifications. Bottom line- I’ve had less time at home this week.
