Hello and welcome! May 1! Whew! We’ve survived six to eight weeks of self quarantine. It’s certainly a different lifestyle now.
Being that we are staying home with only a trip to the grocery store for the month of April, there’s not much to report here. I have managed to do some major cleaning inside and out, but I still have a list of things to do a mile long because work and blogging fill up the majority of week days.
Given that it is a brand new month, it’s that time when I like to look and see what your favorites were for the past month. April favorites are based on what posts received the most views and what products received the most clicks.
This post contains affiliate links. I make a small commission from your purchases through these links. Thanks for your support.
And while we are one the topic of what you viewed and clicked, please feel to leave a comment or reach out and email me to let me know if there is a topic you would like to see or questions you would like me to answer. A question and answer session might be fun.

What I Wore This Week- Work From Home Outfits

Second most viewed- What I Wore At Home This Week Not surprising. These posts always do well in terms of views, and suddenly we are all trying to figure out how to dress for staying home.

April Favorites/ Top products
The most clicked and purchased item was the Amazon tee shirt dress. It’s a good one and a great item to wear at home as well as out. It’s comfy like pajamas. I have most all of these items featured and highly recommend them.
New Findings
I’ve discovered some fun new things that caught my attention.
Alison at GYPO has released a new capsule wardrobe- the Body Shape Capsule. I’m shouting all the praises because this is long overdue. While I love to play with capsule wardrobes, my biggest fault with them is that most are designed for the body shape of the creator. That means when the capsule is released with all those cute outfits and links to shop, many of the exact items don’t work for purchaser. Many women who buy these capsules are trying to learn how to dress themselves, and while capsules can help you learn color combinations and pieces that work together in outfits, they totally overlook body shape and pieces that work for your body. I’ve been so heartbroken many times watching women in the private Facebook group trying to “fit” themselves into the “exact” item recommended in the capsule and wondering why they don’t look their best in the outfit. It’s not just a GYPO issue. I’ve participated in other capsule groups and it’s the same problem in all of them. It’s like trying to get a square peg in a round hole if you try to follow someone else’s capsule wardrobe to the letter. Kudos to Alison for finally addressing this.

With this capsule you’ll receive a guide to determine your body shape and a 26 piece shopping list of classic wardrobe essentials and the links to shop recommended items online or in store. You’ll also get instant access to 18 days of ideas designed for each body shape. It takes all the guesswork out of it!
Round 2 of the Spring Outfit Formulas just started as well. While it doesn’t include body type info, it’s still a great basic casual wardrobe for the season of life we are having. It’s not to late to join in.
