Hello October! This year is flying by. It’s time again to share my monthly purchases. I really worked on knocking down my wish list for purchases in September. Many of my keepers come from the Amazon Essentials line.

1-I have been searching for a new red blazer off and on for a while, one that has no contrasting liner or other color. I finally purchased on from Express (similar) off Thred Up. The material is a little more casual than I prefer for business attire, but I can make it work. That’s the risk of shopping online and not seeing something IRL first.
2- From my Amazon wish list, I purchased this travel bag. It popped up as a daily deal one day so I grabbed it. I have used it once, but didn’t really try to pack it to maximum capacity, so I’m still deciding if it will truly work for me.
3. I decided that I wanted some joggers so I purchased these Amazon Essentials terry carpi joggers and 4- and the Amazon Essentials Studio Jogger in grey in regular length. I also tried out the Daily Ritual joggers, and while they are soft and cozy, they don’t have pockets. The Amazon essential joggers have pockets!
5 – I also purchased the Amazon essentials long sleeve poplin shirt in black gingham and french blue. Both will be great for fall. These are a great deal for casual relaxed button ups.
6- I tried out the JCrew 10″ High Rise Curvy Skinny jeans through a prime wardrobe box. I liked that these jeans shape and hold you in well, but I just can’t do high rise. I’m short waisted, so a mid rise is the best fit for me. If you can do a high rise, these are a great pick. True to size, I wore a 28. Returned
7- Amazon Daily Ritual High Rise Skinny jean- A super soft stretch jean that I think would be comfortable. However, as noted above, the high rise just doesn’t work for me. I sized up to 29 as I size up in most Amazon clothing. Returned.
8. O Ring belts– These have been on my wish list for a while and a couple of brands come highly recommended. I took a chance on this two pack that look like the other recommended brand. They look great but I’m not expecting them to hold up to years of repeated wear.
9. Plaid blazer – I mentioned this one in my last Target try on. I had a Target gift card from some reward points so I went back and got the blazer.
10 Camo tee– My favorite tee from Target comes in camo, so I decided to add a little camo to my closet.
I placed some Old Navy, JCPenney and Loft orders this weekend but none of it has arrived so I’ll save that for next month.
