The temps are dropping a little here but it’s still hot. In spite of the heat, I went into Target last week to see what was new for fall. I braved the heat to try on a few things. There are lots of pieces in warm fall colors like rust, plum, blush, and hunter green.

For sizing reference, I’m 5’2/ 155 lbs and generally wear a 6 or 8, small to medium.
This is the plaid blazer I may pull the trigger on this year. I wanted one last year and could not make up my mind nor find one in a price range I wanted to pay but this is a good one. I’m wearing a 6. The pants are obviously longer on me than the model online and I sized up to a 10. I just can’t do painted on work pants. The shoes fit true to size. I’m wearing a 7.5.
I’m wearing a small. This is a fun silky feeling blouse (it’s 100% polyester not silk) in a brown/rust python print, one of those warm fall colors. It has two front breast pockets but they are barely noticeable. I’d need to roll the sleeves as they are a little long for me and I couldn’t decide if it tucked well or not but worth a little further consideration.
A cute dress perfect for warmer fall temps. Wearing a small. This comes in a snakeskin print too!
Boho loving babes, Knox Rose is the Target Line for you. I’m wearing this in a small. It’s got lots of fall colors and it’s perfect for those of us who have warmer fall temps.(They also have a dress in this print.) It’s perfect for the ladies who like to cover up upper arms. I’m wearing an 8 with the boot cut jeans. They are the same soft stretchy material as the shorts I bought at the beginning of summer. The length is a little long for me but with a heel they work. I’m wearing this outfit with the heeled mules, which fit true to size.
Another cute top in plum, a perfect fall color.
The cardigan I tried doesn’t seem to be available online nor the regular wash in the jeans. The jeans are available in a light wash. The regular length is too long for me (petites) but they have them in short length on the website. They were nice and soft and I’m considering ordering a pair in the shorter length. The cardigan is pretty thick and the sleeves are long for petites, so I cuffed the sleeve. As you can see, the cardigan is available (in the store) in several colors including oatmeal and rust. I’m wearing a small, but might size down if it’s available in a smaller size due to the bulk. These Target tees are favorites of mine and I’d have them in every color if I had a need for that many tees.
By the end of the session, I was sweating like a pig because Target didn’t have the AC turned down very low in spite of it being 95 degrees outside. Nothing came home with me. It’s a little hard to shop for fall when you’re sweating but a few things are on my wish list, like the blazer and the raw hem jeans.
