It’s my favorite day again! Are you sick of me yet? I’ve posted a lot in the past week, but no worries, I won’t maintain that. It will be back to 3 posts (or sometimes 4) next week.

1- I had a doctor’s appointment this week for an annual check up. You know, that doctor. That’s not my favorite thing. So I treated myself to a day of shopping. I wasn’t driving an hour just for that doctor’s visit. I have to take advantage of browsing in stores I usually only get to shop from online.
I popped into Loft and tried on a few things. Loft is one of my favorite stores. If only they would offer free shipping and returns.
For size reference, I’m 5’2″ and weigh 150 pounds. I wear a size 6 in most Loft items, julie fit in pants.

Twill tie waist shorts– These were on sale with 40% off the sale price, so these came home with me for $25. I’d say they fit true to size. I’m in a 6. I tried an 8 but that was too big in the waist and stomach. top- Loft outlet; shoes- espirit; option option

Paisley strappy cami and textured jogger skirt The cami has a raceback style back. I’m wearing a small. The skirt is perfect for casual summer looks if you don’t like shorts. I sized up to a medium for a looser fit.

Striped button front tie hem tank and Rivieria pants This tank is adorable. See a closer view below. I am wearing a small/petite. I usually wear Loft pants in a Julie fit but this store doesn’t carry Julie fit in the store. I tried on a size p in Marisa, but would order these in Julie. The pants are a nice lightweight material for summer, but a tad too short for my office.

Striped button down flare dress– I tried this in a regular, but think the petite would work better for me.

2- Outfits lately Wearing my favorites on repeat- Kimono, coral jeans and linen joggers.
You have seen the kimono with shorts. I wore it with jeans to the doctor’s office because I anticipated it might be cold inside. I did a little pattern mixing with my gingham slides. I received tons of compliments all day long on this kimono at the doctor’s office and out shopping. It’s from Amazon so you can have one too in two days with Prime for $13.99.

Coral jeans again. I wore them to Bible study Tuesday night with this super comfy top from Amazon and my new snakeskin slides.

Last Friday we had a photo shoot scheduled for a family right after work. It was on the marsh and I didn’t want to expose my legs to bug bites so I wore these linen joggers. I’ve worn them so much over the years they are becoming paper thin, but they still look good and are so comfy. Shop similar joggers here or here.

3- I tried a new recipe this week- asparagus stuffed chicken breast. I always thought a stuffed chicken breast was something fancy I didn’t have time for but these were super easy. I will definitely be trying more stuffed chicken breast recipes from this blog, Primavera Kitchen. Plain chicken breasts are not a favorite of mine, but stuffed they could be.
4- My favorite summer capsule challenge kicks off next week. You can still sign up and join us!

5- Colorful summer earrings and accessories are always favorites. Grab some fun earrings from Jane.
