Happy Friday! Thanks for all the love you have been showing these posts. My most popular posts over on the side are mostly Five for Friday posts.
Let’s get started on this week’s happenings. I’ve got meals for the week and lots of deals to share with you. This post contains affiliate links. I make a small commission from your purchases through these links. Thanks for your support.
1 What I’ve been wearing
Work Wear– still wearing this blush blazer a good bit, but it will likely be too hot for it soon. I paired it with navy pants and a floral blouse, all older pieces from my closet.

Blazer- Limited; option, option; blouse- JCP; option, option; pants- Loft; option, option
Weekend wear- I love wearing boot cut jeans with wedges. Still loving those Amazon earrings and that $8 striped Target tee.

Jacket- JCP; option tee- Target; jeans- Old Navy; shoes- Aerosoles option
2- Meals this week– If you need some meal ideas that are quick and easy, these are for you. I like to keep weeknight meals quick and simple. Sometimes with cooking and cleanup, I find myself in the kitchen for 2 hours or more. That’s half of my evening considering I work until 5 p.m. daily (or later) and we try to go to bed by 9 or 10 p.m. So the quicker the meal, the better. Meals this week included:
Chicken fajitas with refried beans Slice some chicken breasts, peppers and onions and saute, and follow the recipe for the refried beans.
Baked salmon, baked potato, salad– This one was super easy and quick! 10 minutes in the microwave for the potatoes, 30 minutes in the oven for salmon (it was frozen) and hubby and I each make our own salads right in the bowl we are eating out of. We usually get a container of spring mix from Sam’s or the grocery store, so we pull it out along with whatever additions we want and throw it in the bowl. This meal also left very little clean up.
Sandwiches and chips- Don’t judge. We usually have sandwiches or eat out on Bible study nights because we go straight from work to Bible study 6-8 p.m.

Sausage and Potatoes Sheet Pan Dinner- I mostly followed this recipe, but I didn’t have ready made Italian seasoning on hand so I used equal amounts of basil, oregano and rosemary. I didn’t cut my sausage because I used a chicken sausage from Publix that’s filled with cilantro and cheese. My husband doesn’t like sausage but he will eat these chicken sausage. Easy clean up!
3- Reading- Did you see my full review of all the books I read last month? Are you interested in these reviews? Let me know and I’ll keep doing them. I just finished Verity this week. Oh my! Weird, disturbing but could not put it down.

4- Favorite product– This Burt’s Bees cuticle cream is one of my favorites. I use it almost daily, and I’ve recommended it in lots of my gift guides. I haven’t gotten tired of it. I have pretty ragged cuticles because I pick at them (bad habit) but this stuff smooths them back into condition.
