There are lots of options for paperbag waist pants. You can get a more fitted look and polished style, or you can go with baggy and casual. I’ll admit some of this year’s spring trends and styles are not the most flattering trends to wear, but they can be fun. The key is to find the right fabric and fit for you, so it can take a bit of shopping to get a pair of paperbag waist pants that work for you. Tip: Search for tie waist pants also.
I’m styling this pair from Amazon. They come in six colors. I usually have to size up two sizes in this brand of pants, but one size up is sufficient for me in this style.
1- with a bright top and leopard flats – If you are styling a neutral pair of paper bag waist pants, pair them with a bright colored top. Olive and red work well together. Coral would work equally well too.
2- with a white tee and denim jacket- Since this is an outfit of almost all neutral basics, add a fun shoe and bright bag. Circle bags are trendy this spring too.
3- with a grey tee and bright wedges– Again neutrals with a color pop!
These are the sunglasses I’ve been raving about!
4- with a striped top and white sneakers– Pick any color stripes if you’re pants are a neutral color. I went with neutral navy stripes and added a pop of color with the bag.
The key to styling paper bag waist pants is to choose tops that are more fitted and that can be tucked in. If you are not a fan of this style pants, you can also style any of these outfits with joggers or a drawstring waist pants. Think out of the box when using these photos for inspiration. Sub paper bag waist skirts too for the pants.
