Are you itching to refresh your wardrobe for spring and pull in some lighter, brighter colors and maybe a trend or to? I recently made a haul at JCPenney, pulling off everything from the racks that caught my eye. I took it all home to try on. Read and scroll with me as I share with you sizing, fit and spring trends you can find at JCPenney.

Liz Claiborne classic fit ankle pants As much as I want these in my closet, this pair didn’t fit quite right in my normal size 6, so I’d say these run large. They were a little big in the waist and long in the crotch, so perhaps a size down or the petite size would fit me better. I don’t see this color in petite online, but they do come in tall and a slim fit that comes in petites. For a light colored pant, they provide pretty good coverage and are not see through.
Worthington Round Neck Blouse + Worthington Sandals in snakeskin. This blouse comes in six colors/prints including the popular snake skin print. It is a little thin, so you may want to add a cami underneath. Wearing a small. Snag other colors of these sandals for less than $15 right now. Whether you go with florals or snakeskin, you will be on trend with either for spring.
a.n.a. Peasant Top- This cute paisley print caught my eye along with the tie at the neck, but it’s a return for me. Tucked it’s okay, but untucked it hits at the worst place on me and it’s a little too billowy for me. If you are taller, like looser tops, and want to hide a tummy, this may work for you. Oh, and the sleeve closure was super small and I couldn’t even button the left one. You need skinny arms too.
a.n.a Blouse in Patchwork Print- Scarf prints or patchwork prints will be on trend this spring, and this blouse fits the bill. If pattern mixing intimidates you, you will be able to find pieces this spring that do it for you. Try it out with the spring trends. As much as I like this print, I’m returning this one too. It just doesn’t look right for me.
a.n.a V-neck Floral Blouse + Worthington Ankle pants This blouse pairs beautifully with these pants and the matching blazer, but I’d probably only wear it this one way. It’s another billowy blouse that doesn’t look good untucked on me, so back it goes. But the pants and the blazer are keepers.
Worthington blazer– This feels so good on! I tried the same one last fall in a plaid and it didn’t fit right, so I’m guessing there was a fabric difference but this one is perfect. I’m wearing a small, and size 6 in the pants.
Liz Claiborne round neck top I have been wanting a tie front top forever, and have so many hopes for this one. It won’t really fit my personal work wear requirements but I decided to look past that. This would still be gorgeous with a navy pencil skirt for the office or with white jeans for the weekend. I’m in a small but plan to try the x-small because the top is just too big on the sides. Other than that, it’s a perfect spring to summer top.
