Are you as addicted to Amazon as everyone else? I love seeing what everyone finds on Amazon. There’s some really good stuff there now, including fashion. I ordered another Prime Wardrobe box recently and tried out some different types of things for quality, fit, etc and I’m sharing my finds with you today.

For fit/size I’m 5’2″, 150.5 lbs, and my best fitting brand straight off the rack is Loft Julie fit or curvy in a 6. In most brands I’m a 6-8, small or sometimes a medium in tops. Gulp, I can’t believe I just shared those measurements but it is what it is. And I’ve probably said I’m 5″3″ before, but I had my hubby measure me today, and ha, I’m only 5’2″. I must be shrinking or poor posture. I’ve always known I was not quite 5’3″ but I’m way closer to 5’2″ (like 5’2″ and 1/8 to be exact).
Now that those details are out of the way, let’s talk about these first three pieces.
The top is not prime wardrobe eligible, so it was a separate order from my wish list. I’ve seen a version of this around a lot on blogs and instagram so I decided to try it for myself. I ordered a small, but should have gotten a medium. It’s pretty snug, especially in the arms. It’s also pretty thin and not the quality I’ve been led to believe it was by other bloggers, but what do you expect for $9.99? I returned it.
The joggers clearly state in the description that they run small, and they do! I ordered an 8, but need a 10 for comfort and for the fit I want in a jogger. These were a little tight right at the bottom of the pockets in the biggest part of my thigh. Other than that, they would have been keepers. Joggers are so easy to dress up or down. I have an olive linen pair that I wear all spring/summer/fall and would like to add another pair. These are going back on my wish list.
These dreamy comfy sneakers! I didn’t keep them, because I want to get some white sneakers of a different style and I’m trying to be more discerning and limiting about what is in my closet, but these were so comfy I didn’t want to take them off. I’ve had slip on sneakers before when they first came out and I wore them out! Seriously, my old ones ended up in the trash from constant wear, so I know a slip on sneaker would be a good closet staple. These come in 8 colors, and 4 of them are light neutral colors perfect for being on trend this spring. This pair is the greige color, size 7.5 M and true to size.
Amazon essentials Lightweight Scoopneck tunic sweater– True to it’s description, this is a soft lightweight sweater perfect for most spring weather, or for our spring evenings. It was over 80 again today, so I probably don’t need this sweater. I got a medium because I’ve found Amazon essential tops to run small before. Long enough for leggings on me and super comfy. In my fantasy spring where I’d still wear sweaters every day, I’d have one in every color. ( I would not wear it with the joggers, they were too bulky underneath it.)
Lark and Ro tiered sleeveless ruffle trim blouse I’m wearing a small and really like this top. Perfect for work under a blazer and without the blazer with jeans for date night or going out. Ruffles are trending again this spring so this piece would be on trend too. I think the price has come down since I first purchased it, and the original price was a deal breaker. It’s at $45 now so I might keep watching and repurchase it. I have it paired with Lark and Ro Women’s Straight Leg Trouser Pant, which would be a good affordable work wear staple, if they fit you. There were a little too snug on me in a 6 to show a full view, so trust me- if you are petite and curvy, go with the short length and size way up. I’m not sure if I’d even be comfortable in a 10, but maybe. I got regular length to wear with heels, but they were a bit long and too straight cut so I’d probably do the short length if I purchased again. If you are slender or regular build, give these a try. I pictured these pieces in my mind in an outfit with a white blazer.
MSK Ruffle Bell Sleeve Dress– Hello! I need to find a spring or summer wedding or some banquet to go to, so I can justify having this dress. The photos don’t do it justice, but it’s really pretty and super flattering with the ruching. A perfect modest length (well on shortie here) and silky smooth. The top is a wrap style top and actually stays in place. At $39.99 I’d say it’s well made and a good investment. I’m wearing a medium.
Nautica Women’s Jersey Pajama Set- During my recent Kon Mari closet clean out, I got rid of a lot of tshirts that were my sleep shirts with shorts or pajama bottoms because I honestly felt crappy walking around the house in them during the mornings and evenings. Now I need to up my pajama game. I tried these in a small but would probably get them in a medium for a more comfy looser fit.
Ecowish Color Block Sweater– This seems to be another blogger favorite and this one is worth it. I’m wearing it in a medium but I doubt there would have been a huge difference in small or medium. I wore it out exactly as pictured on a mild day to hit up the thrift stores. Crossbody bag – this bag is a cute bag of a decent size. Not too big but will certainly hold more than wallet and phone. It’s structured and holds it shape, if you like that. You might find it too rigid if you like softer bags, but I like that it holds it’s shape. Both of these pieces were separate orders from the prime wardrobe box. I didn’t keep anything from the box for various reasons, most stated above, but it’s like window shopping at home, ha! It’s a great way to find out what works and what doesn’t without breaking the bank.
