Spring! Glorious spring, and with it spring fashion. At least it’s officially spring on the calendar today. I’m hoping your weather is cooperating.
What to wear? For most of you, the change of a season is welcome in terms of fashion and what to wear is not a question, but if you are overwhelmed by ALL THE NEW THINGS, and want to pair it down to just a few things that will get maximum wear, this is perfect for you. I created a 10 piece capsule wardrobe that incorporates some new things I added to my closet for spring, and some old pieces. This spring mini capsule gives work and weekend wear options.
Some capsules include shoes. If you want, you could add three pair of shoes that would yield a 13 piece capsule and similar results. Or you can have 7 or 8 items of clothing, and 2 or 3 pairs of shoes for a total of 10. There really are no hard and fast rules. It’s all about what works for you. I really, really like shoes, and think they can make or break and outfit, and turn the same pieces from dressy to casual, so I didn’t limit my shoes in this capsule.
Today and over the next four days I’m sharing the outfits I’ve put together with these spring mini capsule pieces, so make sure you check in daily over the next few days so you don’t miss any of them.
I’m starting off with an outfit perfect for brunch, lunch, shopping, errands or weekend activities.

I added leopard flats, mottled earrings and this bag I mentioned in my February purchases. This bag is quickly becoming a favorite. It looks like an expensive designer bag, but it’s only $31.89. It comes in six colors and any of the colors would add a touch of class to an outfit. I also added a layered necklace to this outfit too. These will be on trend this spring, so consider adding a layered necklace to your collection.
The jeans are crop flares and meant to be a little shorter, but at 5’2″, they are a little longer on me, more like ankle pants. Oh well.
Have a great week. Linking here.
