I am more than ready to wrap up winter. Not that I have minded the weather. I actually got to wear sweaters and boots here this time, but I’m at that point where I don’t think I can possibly create one more winter outfit , so I’m ready to move on to spring fashion. I’ll pass on the sand gnats and humidity, but bring on the fun florals and lighter colors.
Since we aren’t quite there yet and I’m sure that Mother Nature will throw one more cold spell in there before the end of March, I’m still remixing my winter pieces. I pulled out this bow sweater and bow plaid flats to create this winter outfit.

Happy Friday! Here are a few things I’m loving and doing right now.
1- Desktop heated coffee mug warmer.
If I’m at my computer, I usually have a cup of coffee in hand. First thing in the morning and a smaller cup in the evening as soon as I get home. (Yes, I still sleep.) But my coffee gets cold quickly so I asked for this for Valentine’s Day. (Valentine’s gifts this year were an oddity of little things on our wish lists that we probably weren’t going to splurge on for ourselves right now. I sent my husband my Amazon list.) I’m happy to report that the warmer is doing the trick. I’m also happy to report that I haven’t burned the house down with it. I accidentally left it on Wednesday. By the time I got home from work, the desk was really warm but not scorched and no damage. The warmer cooled off quickly when I shut it off, so I give this one extra points for not burning my desk.
2- I started a utility cart redo last weekend. This belonged to my grandmother. She had covered the shelves in contact paper. It’s been in my garage for years now, so I decided it was finally time to get to work on it. I’m going to repaint it and use it on the back porch, but I haven’t decided on a color yet. We also hope to close in our back porch and redecorate it so that’s making it a little more difficult to decide on a color. I forgot to take a proper before picture and had two shelves of the contact paper removed when I decided to take a picture.

3-Did you catch Wednesday’s post on the colorblock sweater? I’m loving this option from Jane.com. It comes in four colors.

4- Cents of Style is having their semi-annual clearance event. Now through the 25th take 50% OFF already reduced clearance with code TGIF50. Shipping is free. Don’t miss this one.
5- If you love a good thrifted find, check out my Poshmark closet. Make me an offer. I seriously need to move some things out of my way. I just listed a couple of things last weekend and had a sale this week. This printed top is great for spring, as well as this plaid tie front top. I consider all reasonable offers.
Have a great weekend. Linking here.
