Red, yellow, and green gingham usually scream summer to me, but what about a neutral black and white gingham, or navy? I think the darker colored gingham is perfect for bringing the pattern into winter.

Gingham button ups look great peaking out from under pullover sweaters, so gingham must be for the winter too. Depending on what I pair this blazer with, it’s pretty well suited for either season. I recently wore this blazer with grey and black to create somewhat of a neutral monochromatic work look. I say somewhat because the pattern is a little busier than you tend to see with monochromatic looks, but is works for me, and it works for the office.
I kept the grey/black theme going with my Kendra Scott earrings and a subtle touch of snakeskin. I picked these up with my last Rocksbox. I debated about getting them because I had already spent so much in November, but I’m glad I did. I’ve already worn them more times than I can count. My credit made them a reasonable price. If you still need a gift idea for someone, gift them a Rocksbox subscription. It’s a great way to try before you buy with jewelry and try new things and trends without total commitment. Are you ready for Christmas? We still have a few things to get to finish up gifts, and then the wrapping needs to be done. I’m attending work holiday parties today and tomorrow at lunch. At least they aren’t requiring after hours appearances from me! I sound like such a Grinch, but who has time for all the extra stuff???!!! As you can see, I can’t even manage blogging and the extra stuff this time of year. At least my work wear fans are getting a work wear post today!
