I love fall colors- all the shades of orange, reds, yellows, along with earthy tones like browns and olive. Fall colors can certainly be worn for 9 to 5 style. I recently picked up this blouse at JCPenney. I was drawn to the print, the cut and of course, the color. I’ve had these pants for a few years and sometimes I feel like I have run out of ways to wear them. I also have a rust blazer that I like to wear when it cools off and likewise, it was getting a little old to me. Now that I have this blouse I have new ways to wear both pieces.

It’s still too warm for the blazer, so I paired this blouse with the rust pants. I added my leopard pumps and a burgundy purse for some interest. This outfit would also pair well with black pumps and a black purse/satchel or with cognac pumps and a brown purse.

This blouse is by Liz Claiborne and it features a covered button up front, long cuffed sleeves and a crew neck. I usually find several office appropriate tops in this brand and they are reasonable priced. At the sale price and with additional coupons, I paid less than $20 for this top.  Here’s another Liz Claiborne top that would pair well with rust orange.
I almost left it at the store because I initially thought this was the only way I’d wear it and I like to have at least three ways to wear something in mind before I commit to it. I quickly came up with other ways when I got it home, so it’s a keeper. It also has a bit of pink/lavender in the middle of those leaves. That’s not a color combination I would have thought of, but it gives me ideas.
