Happy Weekend! A good portion is over by now, but not really since this one is a long weekend for me. The long weekend means there are lots of great sales for Columbus Day, but before we get to the sales, let me show you three easy ways to wear the western trend this fall.

The western trend has shown up among the resurgence of other 80s and 90s trends that came back around. I remember my first significant purchase that I made with my own money. It was the summer of 1992, right after my first year of college. I went to the western wear store and purchased a pair of real leather lizard skin cowboy boots. I wore those things religiously all around the University of Georgia campus. They were perfectly molded to my feet. I wore them class and I wore them out at night. I was inseparable from those boots. I also had some western wear shirts and a cowboy hat during that time period. I fully embraced the trend back then. I’m not so sure I’ll be going full on with western wear this time around.
But don’t worry you don’t have to go full on cow girl to be on trend this fall. Here are three easy ways to subtly add some western wear to your look.
1. Western booties This has to be the absolute easiest of all ways to wear the western trend. Just add a pair of western inspired booties to your closet and wear them with your sweaters and jeans.
2. Wear a prairie style or western inspired dress. These look super cute with the booties too.
3. Add some fringe. Fringe is a trend that repeats every few seasons. Items like ponchos and scarves often have fringe and they all fit right into that western trend.
