Fail-proof way to wear black ankle pants to work

Black ankle pants can be a work wear staple, but if you are not careful, ankle pants can also come across as too casual.  It’s been really hot lately, so I wanted to style an outfit for work that would look good without a blazer or topper. My solution for this was black ankle pants and a roll sleeve tunic blouse. And of course accessories.

Pair black ankle pants with a blouse and polished accessories. I’m really into sleek accessories right now. The pair I’m wearing above came from a recent Rocksbox set. They are a neat spin on the traditional hoop. Give Rocksbox a try for one month free with code FONDABFF. I guarantee you will discover some great jewelry styles.

Be sure to pair your ankle pants with a dressy shoe for the office. A shoe can make the difference in an outfit having a casual vibe or a dressy vibe. Pick a pair with a low vamp or some kind of cut out like the d’orsay pumps to lengthen the legs and avoid chopping up the ankle line.
