It’s Friday! That means its time for me to share five random things from my week.
First, Cents of Style has all things tropical on sale at 40% off with code TROPIC40 AND they offer FREE SHIPPING! AND you get a free drink floatie with every order while supplies last. Get ready for summer now. I’m in love with Misty Tropical Boho Maxi Dress above, Tika-24 Tropical Espadrille Flat and Renny Tropical Band Panama Hat. Who am I kidding? I want a kimono and round beach towel too.
2. It rained all week. That means my new rain loafers and rain coat got lots of use this week. I love those loafers, so comfy. I wore them around the office for half a day because they were so comfy. Check out these tips for dressing for work in the rain.
3. I had an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted after work yesterday, but I missed it because we were in court until 7 pm! That’s one of those things that makes me feel put together. I love getting my eyebrows tinted because they are so light. When I have tint, I can actually seen them when I wake up, no product required. With or without tint, this Maybelline Total Temptation brow pencil is still my favorite.
4. We started watching the Netflix documentary series “Evil Genius” last night. Who remembers the 2003 Erie, Pennsylvania pizza bomber? Such a bizarre case.
5. Last but not least, my migration from blogger to wordpress was completed. Did you notice the shiny new site? I got my theme from Pipdig (free with purchase of migration service) and Phil was awesome. I do have some work to do because Blogger is so full of broken links that my posts didn’t transfer with things aligned as they were before. Everything is left aligned where as some text was centered before. I am slowly correcting them. I have 1,475 posts, so at the rate of 2 or 3 a day, I’ll complete this in two years, lol! Yes, I said 1,475 posts. I have been blogging since 2011! I didn’t really promote it in the beginning, so it’s like I only started 2-3 years ago, and I still do it mostly for fun. I deleted some posts before the migration because they were just so pitiful.
What are your weekend plans? If the rain stops, I may hit the beach. If not, I’ll be right here working on the blog.
