Do you remember when colored jeans first came on the scene? Red, green, hot pink? Did you embrace the trend or shy away? How about burgundy jeans?
Unlike some of the other colors, these seem to come back year after year as a fall/winter classic. If you haven’t embraced burgundy jeans yet, or need some more inspiration for how to wear the ones you own, I’ve put together 12 ways to wear burgundy jeans.
I almost didn’t post this because it seems like every blogger in the world and their brother/sister is posting “X ways to wear (______) item” posts right now. Did they just figure out that everyone is tired of having “buy this new item” shoved at them and just want to be inspired to wear the things they have in their closet?
I didn’t want to come across as a copy cat, but I’ve been doing posts like this for years. So, who’s copying who?

Anyway, please let me know if you would like to see more of this in the future. I’ve got a couple more in the works with leopard boots and a burgundy vest post.
I have been through three pairs of burgundy jeans. The first pair I owned became too big after some weight loss. I replaced them with NYDJ straight leg but later decided I needed a shorter length as I didn’t like the rolled/cuffed look and replaced them with skinny ankle jeans. All of these looks are with the NYDJ jeans, a combination of the longer ones and the current ankle length ones. (I’ve been through some growing pains with fit and style!)

I hope you find some inspiration for styling burgundy jeans here. As you see, the colors don’t have to match exactly either when pairing with other burgundy shades. They work with pinks and reds too.
